A Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty uses dermal fillers as an effective alternative to a surgical rhinoplasty.

Dermal fillers can be used to subtly shape the contours of the nose and improve the shape and definition.

This is a non-invasive non- permanent treatment. Results are immediate!

There is minimal downtime and no general anaesthetic.

This procedure can lift the bridge of the nose and also lift the tip of the nose.

Non- Surgical Rhinoplasty can be used to straighten a nose, smooth bumps, lift the tip of the nose, enhance the bridge of the nose , define and shape the nose. Small imperfections can be safely corrected immediately through use of dermal filler with minimal pain and downtime. Results are temporary and usually last 9-12 months.

The treatment involves injecting dermal filler in small percise amounts into various points on the nose. I use Juvederm voluma for this procedure.

Numbing cream is used to minimise discomfort during treatment. This is an advanced technique and should only be carried out by highly experienced nurses, doctors and dentists.

FAQs

Is there any downtime?

There is minimal downtime provided you take all precautions beforehand. There is usually minimal swelling with immediate results!
What are the precautions to take before treatment?

No vitamins, alcohol or anti-inflammatories 5-7 days before treatment to help prevent downtime e.g.. bruising

If you suffer from cold sores it is advisable to take lysine or an oral prescription x 1 week prior to treatment to help prevent cold sore virus reactivating

Day of treatment I recommend an antihistamine prior to treatment to help prevent swelling

Not suitable for anyone allergy to hyaluronic acid, pregnant or breastfeeding
What is the aftercare?

Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment – there may be some swelling and redness at treated area

Avoid anti-inflammatories, vitamins & alcohol for 2 days after treatment

Avoid putting any pressure on treated area

Do not apply make up for 24 hours in order to avoid infection

Do not have any other cosmetic treatment for 4 weeks after treatment

Pineapple juice is good to drink – it has bromaline a natural anti-inflammatory and it helps with the healing process
