Patients with a history of herpes must pre- medicate prior to treatment

Patients with active cold sores or warts, wounded, sunburned, excessively sensitive skin, healing problems, dermatitis or inflammatory Rosacea in the area to be treated should be excluded from treatment

Patients with a history of allergies, rashes, or other skin reactions may be sensitive to treatment

This treatment is not recommended if you have taken Accutane within the past year or received chemotheraphy or radiation therapy

This procedure should not be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women

Pre- care instructions  before treatment:

Avoid the following procedures 1 week before treatment : electrolysis, waxing, depilatory creams, laser hair removal & sun exposure

Cease using any exfoliating products that may be drying or irritating, such as benzoyl peroxide or high percentages of AHA/ BHA’s

Avoid retinoid acid/ tretinoin 1 week prior

Leave on the repair balm until bedtime for best results.

Rinse skin gently ( with water only ) & pat dry/ do not rub

Avoid harsh cleansers or washcloths

Patients with hypersensitivity to the sun should take extra precautions to guard against exposure immediately following the procedure as there may be more sensitivity following treatment

Do not have any other facial treatments for at least one week after your treatment

When washing your face use a gentle, non-soap cleanser

Cease the use of exfoliating scrubs for at least one week after your treatment

Apply repair balmonce per dayor as often as needed to relieve dryness & tightness

Use a sunscreen with zinc & avoid direct sunlight for at least one week

You may resume the regular use of Vitamin A, alpha-hydroxy acid ( AHA )products or bleaching creams within 24 hours

Warning signs of problems include severe redness, swelling, blistering, burns, ulcers, pain or signs of infection

Skin may appear flushed immediately after treatment which should subside within a few hours
