Is the treatment painful?

Numbing cream is used to minimise any pain and the sensation can be described as a slight stinging, similar to an acupuncture treatment.
When does the effect appear and how long does it last?

The first effects are visible after 2-3 weeks, but considerable improvement appears after 2-3 months when induction of new collagen begins.

The effects last up to 18 months.
What are the post - treatment recommendations?

There are no contraindications against returning to the patient’s daily activities

Reddening at the thread introduction spots disappear 3-5 hours after treatment

Following treatment keep head elevated for the remainder of the day and sleep on your back for one week

Avoid excessive mouth opening ( yelling, yawning, singing ) and massage of any kind for 3 weeks

Avoid strenuous excercise for 24-48 hours after treatment

Avoid use of make up for 24 hours

Avoid anti- inflammatories, vitamins, alcohol for 2 days

No facial treatments for 3 weeks after treatment

Do not expose treated area to intense heat
