Restore Peel - The Ultimate Peel To Restore Skin Back To Optimal Health!

Restore peel regulates oil production, increases cell turnover and improves texture, pigmentation and acne. It contains 4o% mandelic acid which has a unique antibiotic action and is a potent anti-ageing ingredient. it is safe and effective in darker skin types and it is ideal to prep the skin prior to heat treatments such as laser. It reduces erythema to help manage Roschea and strengthens the barrier function. It contains Retinaldehyde in combination with powerful antioxidants to offer significant regenerative benefits.

The Restore peel contains:

Mandelic Acid ( 40% ) – It has a unique antibiotic action and it is a potent anti-ageing ingredient.

Lactic Acid ( 10% ) – super hydrating, brightening and volumising

Salicylic Acid ( 2% ) – anti- inflammatory, controls sebum production

Retinaldehyde ( 0.6% ) – most effective form of Vitamin A

Glutathione – powerful antioxidant

Ascorbic Acid – protects cells from UV damage, stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis

FAQs

What are the contraindications?

Patients with a history of herpes must pre- medicate prior to treatment

Patients with active cold sores or warts, wounded, sunburned, excessively sensitive skin, healing problems, dermatitis or inflammatory Rosacea in the area to be treated should be excluded from treatment

Not suitable for patients with autoimmune disease or serious medical conditions

Patients with a history of allergies, rashes, or other skin reactions may be sensitive to treatment

This treatment is not recommended if you have taken Accutane within the past year or received chemotheraphy or radiation therapy

This procedure should not be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women

Not suitable for anyone allergic to aspirin
What are the precautions to take before peel?

Pre- care instructions before treatment:

Avoid the following procedures 1 week before treatment : electrolysis, waxing, depilatory creams, laser hair removal & sun exposure

Cease using any exfoliating products that may be drying or irritating, such as benzoyl peroxide or high percentages of AHA/ BHA’s

Avoid retinoid acid/ tretinoin 1 week prior
What are the post treatment instructions?

Leave on the repair balm until bedtime for best results.

Rinse skin gently ( with water only ) & pat dry/ do not rub

Avoid harsh cleansers or washcloths

Patients with hypersensitivity to the sun should take extra precautions to guard against exposure immediately following the procedure as there may be more sensitivity following treatment

Do not have any other facial treatments for at least one week after your treatment

Anne is a registered nurse and has been involved in Aesthetic Medicine for 20 years. She has specialized training & alot of experience in all the different Aesthetic Treatments that she provides. She is a founding member of DANAI (Dermatology Aesthetic Nurses Association of Ireland – www.danai.ie).
She is highly respected within her profession and also mentors other nurses, doctors and dentists. In 2022 Anne finished the ‘Train the Trainer ‘ programme with Galderma & joined a very talented group of colleagues on the GAIN Faculty (Galderma Aesthetic Injectors Network)!
