The SKIN-TOX microinfusion facial delivers a persolalised cocktail of hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants into the skin via 20 microfine gold plated needles to a depth of 0.6mm.

It: stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis, improves tone and texture, increases product absorption, feeds and revitalises the skin, strengthens the barrier function, brightens dull skin, hydrates at a cellular level, helps reduce erythema and helps repair and rejuvenate the skin.

SKIN-TOX Facial is a superficial painless skin treatment. It gives multidimensional rejuvenating results – up to 400% increase in collagen and elastin ( over 3-6 months ) . There will be redness and minor swelling after each session. This normally settles in 1-2 hours.

a treatment is recommended every 6 weeks for best results. Following day SPF 50 must be worn at all times and continue x 1 week post treatment – it should be part of skincare routine.

FAQs

What are the contraindications?

Active acne, chemotherapy or radiation, oral blood thinning medication, sunburn, pregnancy, breastfeeding, skin cancer, eczema or dermatitis, active infection e.g.. herpes simplex, flat warts, use of roaccutane within the last 12 months, recent use of topical agents such as glycol acids, alpha-hydroxy acids and retinol products, any raised lesions
What is the post treatment homecare?

No vigorous physical activity on day of treatment until all redness has subsided

Do not apply creams for 12 hours following treatment

Spa 50 must be applied to treated area by 1 week post treatment – it should be part of skincare routine

Twice daily cleanse treated area with a post treatment cleanser, followed by serum or treatment cream and then SPF 50

Avoid abrasive cleaners/ scrubs/ retinol x 1 week post treatment
What are the precautions to take before treatment?

No vitamins, alcohol or anti-inflammatories 5-7 days before treatment to help prevent downtime e.g.. bruising

If you suffer from cold sores it is advisable to take lysine or an oral prescription x 1 week prior to treatment to help prevent cold sore virus reactivating

Day of treatment I recommend an antihistamine prior to treatment to help prevent swelli
